We have developed a microscopy platform allowing both SMLM and STED, including SUSHI, on the same microscope. It offers the unique capability to decipher protein organization and dynamics within their morphological context. We demonstrated its capability to image in live neuronal structures together with PSD and AMPAR mobility, and correlate spine morphology with protein organization and dynamics with nanoscale resolution (Inavalli et al., Nature Methods, 2019).
